About
CM Capital Enterprises combines acquisition judgment, systems-driven operating experience, and investor-first communication to pursue value-add apartment communities in markets where attainable housing demand remains durable.
Core Values
The firm’s operating posture is deliberately hands-on, pragmatic, and service-oriented. Performance is not separated from transparency.
CM Capital Enterprises conducts business with professionalism, transparency, and a clear obligation to place partner interests first.
Long-term investor trust, broker relationships, and operating alignment are treated as core assets rather than soft advantages.
The operating approach is hands-on, pragmatic, and focused on turning overlooked challenges into measurable value creation.
Communication, reporting, and strategic responsiveness are treated as part of performance rather than as afterthoughts.
Management Team
Cooper McCoy is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of CM Capital Enterprises LLC. He built his operating background in the supply chain space, spending more than seven years at Amazon across operations, capacity planning, labor planning, and fleet optimization programs.
Alongside that career, he owned and managed long-term and short-term rentals while investing in startups and serving on boards. He brought that data-heavy, process-driven mindset into multifamily real estate to strengthen investor communication and value creation.
Cooper grew up in Kansas City, graduated from the University of Kansas in Marketing, spent several years in Tampa, and now lives in Nashville with his wife and golden retriever, Ruby.
Michael Du Gan is the Co-Founder of CM Capital Enterprises LLC. Outside of multifamily, he has owned and self-managed a portfolio of residential rental properties, building hands-on experience across acquisitions and operations.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Supply Chain with a collateral in Marketing and spent more than nine years at Amazon leading nationwide last-mile fleet initiatives. His work centers on leadership, analytics, and program strategy.
Michael has lived in Nashville for more than 28 years with his wife and twin boys, Davis and Nico, and brings a practical operator’s lens to investor reporting and asset planning.
Paul Williams began investing in single-family real estate as a college student and eventually turned that side pursuit into a full-time career in 2016.
Since then he has flipped more than 80 homes and multiple retail properties, developed land, built new homes, and participated in the acquisition or management of more than 1,800 multifamily units.
Before full-time real estate, Paul owned and managed a nationwide trucking business and taught high school, bringing both operating discipline and acquisition experience to the platform.
Jim Stuart bought his first 8-unit building in 1991 and has since been involved in thousands of multifamily units as both a general partner and a limited partner.
He is a seasoned business executive who has built and operated multiple companies, including a global manufacturing and distribution business.
Jim’s contribution to CM Capital centers on practical asset management, investor alignment, and finding operational decisions that create win-win outcomes for both ownership and on-site teams.
